Skoda Kylaq gets two new ‘Plus’ variants — What’s new?

At the Skoda Kushaq facelift unveiling, the brand also introduced the Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus & Prestige Plus to the Indian market. These sit as the new second-base and top-spec variants in the Kylaq line-up expanding the choice at both ends of the range. With these additions, the sub-4 metre SUV now spans an ex-showroom price range of Rs 7.59 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh.

Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus & Prestige Plus launched 

The Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus price starts at Rs 8.25 lakh with the manual gearbox, while the automatic is priced at Rs 9.25 lakh. This neatly fills the gap between the Classic and Signature trims.

What’s worth noting is that the top-end pricing remains unchanged despite the introduction of the new top variants. The Kylaq prestige plus MT continues to be priced at Rs 11.99 lakh ex-showroom, while the prestige plus AT sits at Rs 12.99 lakh. In fact, the earlier top variants are now cheaper by Rs 24,000.

Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus features

Taking over the second-base position from the Kylaq Signature, the new Classic Plus brings a broader feature set while keeping the fundamentals intact. It is positioned for buyers who want more than the entry-level trim without stepping up too far in price.

On the outside, the base Classic and second-base Classic Plus share the same exterior design and elements. These include a glossy black front grille with 3D ribs, body-coloured outer door mirrors and door handles, black-grained front and rear bumper diffusers, black roof rails, side door cladding with a hexagon pattern, wheel arch cladding, a tailgate spoiler, and a rod-style roof antenna.
