Tata has opened bookings for the new Aeris compact sedan across five variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Creative and Accomplished. Prices start at Rs 5.29 lakh for the petrol version and go up to Rs 8.74 lakh, ex-showroom, while the CNG range starts at Rs 6.29 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.74 lakh. Bookings are open both online and at Tata dealerships, with deliveries set to begin from next month.
Tata Aeris booking amount
The Tata Aeris can be booked for Rs 11,000. The same booking amount applies to both online and dealership bookings. The amount is paid after selecting the preferred variant, engine, transmission and colour combination. It confirms the booking for the selected configuration.

The Smart is the only variant that does not get an AMT gearbox. All other variants are available with both manual and AMT options on the petrol and CNG powertrains.
Tata Aeris engine specifications
The Tata Aeris is offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a factory-fitted CNG option. The petrol engine produces 86 PS and 113 Nm, while the CNG version makes 75 PS and 96.5 Nm in CNG mode. Both powertrains are available with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.

Tata is scheduled to start deliveries of the Aeris from 11 October 2026.
