Tesla India has expanded its after-sales service footprint in Maharashtra with the inauguration of the country's first Tesla-Approved body shop in Pune. The new facility is designed to handle collision repair and body work for Tesla owners in the region.
Authorised Tesla body shop
The Tesla-Approved body shop and service centre in Pune will offer collision repairs, bodywork, genuine replacement parts, software diagnostics and routine maintenance. All services will be handled by trained technicians using Tesla-approved repair processes and components.
The dedicated facility will give Tesla owners in Maharashtra access to specialised repair support while helping maintain repair quality and the use of genuine parts. This is particularly important for electric vehicles, which require specialised handling of their battery systems, electronics and other high-voltage components.
Model Y test drives now available in Pune
Alongside the service centre launch, Tesla has also introduced local test drive availability in Pune for two variants of the Model Y. This gives prospective buyers in the city and surrounding areas the ability to experience the vehicles firsthand rather than relying solely on showroom visits in other cities. Customers can schedule a test drive through Tesla's official website or by calling the company's customer service number.

Model Y Premium RWD price and specifications
The 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at Rs 50,89,000, ex-showroom, and is configured as a five-seat electric SUV. It offers 2,138 litres of total storage capacity, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds, and a WLTP-rated range of up to 500km on a single charge. This variant represents the more accessible entry point into Tesla's India lineup for buyers who do not require a third row of seating.
Model Y L price and specifications
The Tesla Model Y L is available in a three-row, six-seat configuration and is priced at Rs 61.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It features an all-wheel-drive setup, offers up to 2,539 litres of cargo space, and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds. The Model Y L also delivers a WLTP-rated range of up to 681 km, making it the longer-range option among the Tesla models currently available for test drives in Pune.
