- 1Likely to retain the same 1.2-litre NA petrol engine
- 2Borrows a lot of design cues from the Honda City
- 3India launch scheduled to take place on December 4, 2024
The much anticipated next-gen Honda Amaze has been spied once again, and this time, the spy shots reveal key details about the sedan’s exterior design as well as its interior. Aligning with the design sketches revealed by Honda a few days back, the upcoming Honda Amaze design closely resembles that of the Honda City, with some cues borrowed from the Elevate, too. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Honda Amaze.
2025 Honda Amaze
Following the launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda is going to launch a generational update of its own sub-compact sedan, the Honda Amaze, on December 4, 2024. The updated Honda Amaze gets a host of changes over the outgoing model in terms of styling, features, as well as its underpinnings.
New Honda Amaze spy shots
The upcoming Honda Amaze spy shots reveal a stark resemblance to the design of the current generation Honda City. The new Amaze gets LED headlamps, LED DRLs, as well as LED fog lamps placed at the lower part of the bumper. There’s a significantly large front grille like the one on the Elevate, with a chrome strip on the top. The rear LED lights look quite similar to those of the City’s. There’s a strong shoulder line as seen on the current generation Amaze as well.

Upcoming Honda Amaze interior and feature details
The new spy shots give us a look into the cabin of the new Amaze as well, and it looks more or less identical to what we saw on the design sketches released by Honda a while ago. There are rectangular AC vents that are part of a strip that runs throughout the length of the dashboard. On the top lies a touchscreen for infotainment and below lie the HVAC controls.
The design sketches revealed a lane keeping assist indicator on the MID, which suggested that the Amaze will be the first car in its segment to offer ADAS functionalities. These will be camera-based and not radar-based, as seen on the City and the Elevate. Other features and interior elements include a three-spoke steering wheel, dual-tone theme on the dashboard and door panels, rear AC vents, tweeters, and more. It is unlikely to get a sunroof, which its arch-rival, the new Maruti Dzire, gets.

New Amaze engine details
The updated Amaze is expected to retain the same 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine from the current generation. Honda might also provide the option of a factory-fitted CNG option, which is not available with the present generation.
