The new Tata Harrier petrol price hasn’t been announced yet, but most of the other details are already out. Under the hood, it gets the Hyperion 1.5L Turbo GDI petrol engine which delivers more power and torque than the one in the Curvv.

2026 Tata Harrier petrol gets a new variant

The new Tata Harrier petrol is available in the same range of variants as the diesel version, including Smart, Pure X, Adventure X, Adventure X+, Fearless X, and Fearless X+. On top of these, there’s a new top variant, the Harrier Fearless Ultra, offered exclusively in petrol.
The petrol-exclusive Red #Dark edition features a Carbon Black exterior, Exquisite Carnelian Red interior theme, Carnelian Red leatherette seats, R19 dark alloy wheels, and Red #DARK badging. In comparison, the diesel version gets the exclusive Stealth edition.

New Tata Harrier petrol features — What's new?
The Tata Harrier petrol gets several new features, including a 14.52-inch cinematic infotainment screen by Harman powered by Samsung Neo QLED, a sliding armrest, and the Signature Oyster White and Titan Brown interior theme. It also adds Dolby Atmos support for the 10-speaker JBL sound system, ClearView dual camera washers for front and rear, and updated 65W fast-charge USB Type-C ports.

Other additions include VisionEX e-IRVM with built-in dual dash cam and DVR, a six-way powered driver seat with memory, VisionSync memory ORVM with auto-reverse dip, and Alexa Home2Car and Car2Home connectivity.
On the safety side, the Harrier now comes with seven airbags, hill descent control, TPMS, emergency and breakdown call assist, ISOFIX mounts, electronic stability program, and ADAS Level 2+ with 22 functionalities. These updates bring more convenience, technology, and protection to the driving experience.

The new Tata Safari petrol is powered by a 1.5-litre Hyperion unit, delivering 170PS of power and 280Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AISIN torque converter automatic. This same unit is also used in the new Tata Harrier petrol.
The long-standing Harrier diesel features a 2.0-litre unit, producing 170PS and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
