  • Step 3: Click on “Driving Licence Related Services” from the drop down menu.

Facts about Online Driving Licence (DL) Fees in Tamil Nadu:

There are certain facts about acquiring a driving licence in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil Nadu, you have to pay attention to all of the facts listed below:

  • You must first hold a learner’s licence for a minimum of 30 days before you can apply for a permanent driving licence. The learner’s licence is valid for 180 days after it is issued and you must apply for a driving licence from the RTO where the learners licence is issued.
  • A driving licence is valid for 20 years in India and can be renewed once the expiry date is reached.
  • If the driving licence test is failed by the applicant, a retest can be taken 7 days after the initial test.
  • The driving licence fees can either be paid online through the Parivahan Sewa website or the Transport Department website of the state.
  • If an applicant chooses to make the payment offline, they must visit the RTO directly and make the payment directly at the RTO office.
