1. Mahindra XUV300 (Global NCAP rating: 5 stars)
Mahindra XUV300 has emerged as the safest car in India. The XUV scored five stars for adult occupancy and received a four-star rating in the child occupant protection category. Mahindra XUV300 also won the Global NCAPS’s Safer Choice Award.

The crash-tested TATA Nexon scored 16.6 out of 17 for adult occupancy and scored a three-star, i.e., 25 out of 49 points in the child safety protection category. Nevertheless, it comes second in the safest car of India 2021. 3. TATA Altroz (Global NCAP rating: 5 stars)
TATA Altroz is a premium hatchback is next on the list of safest cars in India 2021. Apart from its unique design TATA Altroz is equipped with the best in class safety features.
In the crash test, TATA Altroz scored 16.13 out of 17 in the adult occupancy protection category and scored 29 out of 49, thereby receiving a three-star in the child safety category. 4. Mahindra Marazzo (Global NCAP rating: 4 stars)
Mahindra Marazzo received a 4-star rating by the Global NCAP. This vehicle received a four-star in adult occupancy by scoring 12.85 out of 17 and scored a 22.22 out of 49 in child occupant safety, thereby receiving a two-star.
Mahindra Marazoo got features like dual front airbags, disc brakes on all wheels, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, rear parking camera and sensors, cornering lamps. Speed censoring door locks, and emergency calls.
5. VW Polo (Global NCAP rating: 4 stars)
German Volkswagen Polo scored an impressive four-star in the Global NCAP rating scoring about 12.54 out of 17 in adult occupancy and received three-star in child protection scoring 29.91 out of 49. Volkswagen Polo includes safety features like dual front airbags, ABS, rain-sensing wipers, speed-sensing door locks, rear park sensors, rear windshield and wiper, rear defogger.
6. Tata Tiago/Tigor (Global NCAP rating: 4 stars)
Tata’s third product which made into Global NCAP rating scoring a 4-star in the crash test result. It scored about 12.52 out of 17 in adult occupancy and 34.15 out of 49 in child safety, thereby receiving a three-star.

7. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza (Global NCAP Rating:4-Stars)

8. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga (Global NCAP rating: 3 stars)

It scored an overall three-star rating in the crash test result. In the adult occupant safety category, it scored 9.25 out of 17 and a three-star in child safety that is 25.16 out of 49.

9. Ford Figo Aspire (Global NCAP rating: 3 stars)
Ford Figo Aspire got a three-star rating in the crash test result. It scored 10.49 out of 17 for adult safety and 14.22 out of 49 for child safety which is a two-star. This is the first Ford car to make it to the top 10 list of safest cars in India 2021.
