The Honda City, which remained the undisputed king of the C2 segment for many years, can now be seen having a tough time to fend off the heat from the Maruti Ciaz. While the Ciaz offers a higher mileage and a more spacious interior at a lower price, the City impresses with its powerful petrol engine and a slightly more upmarket interior. While you really can’t go wrong with any of these, we think you should pick one up as per the exact requirements. Those seeking excellent value for money should simply head for the Ciaz. Also, those who plan to spend a lot of time in the back seat should pick up the Ciaz for the excellent rear seat comfort and space. The City is the one for you if you want a petrol car that is high on performance. If you compare diesel variants of Honda City and Ciaz, it’s the Ciaz you should go for.
