Engine2.0L Petrol, 2.0L Diesel
Transmission6-Speed Automatic, 8-Speed Automatic

While the upcoming Sportage is in its fourth generation from KIA, the model is yet to make its way to India. Fortunately, though, we believe that the latest model will make its way over given the fact that the SUV segment is truly flourishing in the country. Also, the KIA Seltos has been doing extremely well in India and is growing in popularity every day. This might push KIA to launch the Sportage in the country as well. While there isn’t a lot of information around the Sportage right now, we expect the SUV to be similar to what is offered on the Hyundai Tucson and will immediately compete with the likes of the Tucson, Mahindra XUV500, and the Jeep Compass. Like the Tucson, we can expect the Sportage to come with a 2.0L petrol engine that generates 155Ps of power and 192Nm of torque. There is also a 2.0L diesel engine that produces 185Ps of power and 400Nm of torque. Both the engines will most likely be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard with the option for upgrading to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Some of the features we are expecting on the Sportage include a panoramic sunroof, multiple airbags, and an electronically adjustable driver seat. With more information expected to drop anytime soon, you can get all the latest Sportage news right here.

Entering the country for the first time and presenting a lineup of powerful SUVs is exactly what Great Wall Motors wanted with their Haval line of cars. When the cars were first showcased at the Auto Expo 2020, all eyes immediately fell on the Haval Concept H which is expected to be an electric SUV from the company. However, it is expected that the company will first launch diesel and petrol variants of the Concept H before releasing the all-electric variant in India. Lexus officially unveiled the UX SUV back in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show and was instantly pitted against some of the biggest names in the segment including the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the BMW X1, and the Audi Q3. The wheels are sized between 17-18 inches depending on the variant of the SUV. At the back, the UX SUV will come with 120 LED lights that make up the connected taillight arrangement.
