2024 Kia Carnival bookings to open from September 16 ahead of the launch on October 3. To be brought into India via the CBU route initially, the new-gen Carnival will be available only in a single, fully loaded variant at the time of the launch. The Korean carmaker however will start the local production of the new Carnival at a later date. Powering the new-gen Carnival will be the same 2.2-litre diesel engine that saw duty in the previous-gen MPV in India. The global versions of the Carnival are offered with a 1.6- litre turbo petrol hybrid and a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine.
On the features front, the new-gen Carnival will get a dual-pane sunroof, second-row electrically adjustable captain seats with ventilation function and extendable leg support, power-sliding rear doors, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, dual curved displays, head-up display, digital rear-view mirror and new digital key with fingerprint recognition.
