2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition launched in India — Limited to 50 units!

Mercedes-Benz India, after the launch of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition, has launched another special edition of one of its high-end cars in India — the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 electric sedan. Here’s everything that’s worth knowing about the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition.

New Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition

The limited-run Celebration Edition has supposedly been launched to celebrate a 73% increase in sales of luxury EVs for the German carmaker in the first five months of 2025. It packs in the promise of an even more luxurious back seat, while no changes have been made to its powertrain or the exterior.

Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition features

Key features that are on-board the Celebration Edition that makes it stand apart from the regular sedan include multi-contour rear seats, electrically-adjustable front seats that can be controlled from the back, full-Nappa leather upholstery inside the cabin, 38-degree reclining rear seats, and designer seatbelt buckles. There’s massage functions and lumbar support, obviously!

Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 range and powertrain specs

The EQS 580 boasts of the highest claimed range of any electric car in India, sitting at over 800 kilometres. It comes equipped with a 107.8kWh battery pack that powers a couple of electric motors — one for each axle. Combined output stands at 523PS of maximum power and 855Nm of maximum torque. Oh, it can also do a 0-100kmph run in about 4.3 seconds, by the way!

2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition price in India

The Celebration Edition is limited to 50 units, with each one priced at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom, India).
