As strange as it may sound, the Nissan Magnite has finally scored five stars in the latest Global NCAP crash test. After all, having five stars has become the new normal, or let’s say, a hygiene practice for carmakers. Read on to learn more about the 2025 Nissan Magnite safety rating and its safety features list.
Nissan Magnite safety rating updated
The pre-facelifted Nissan Magnite was tested by Global NCAP back in 2022, wherein the compact SUV scored four stars in adult safety and two stars in child safety. Fast forward to 2025, the Nissan Magnite facelift safety rating stands at five stars for adult safety and three stars in child safety. It is worth noting that this updated five star safety rating comes after a re-test conducted by Global NCAP after the primary test awarded four stars for the Magnite equipped with six airbags.

2025 Nissan Magnite child safety rating
Coming to the Nissan Magnite child safety rating, the Magnite scored 33.64 points out of 49 points, rewarding the compact SUV with three stars. The car lacks an airbag cut-off switch for the front passenger seat, although it meets ISOFIX installation standards in most positions and offers 3-point seatbelts for all seats.
