2025 Toyota Taisor gets standard six airbags, new colour — Price hiked

Following the recent update to the Glanza, Toyota has now updated the Urban Cruiser Taisor with the 2025 model year that brings new a colour option and better safety equipment. 2025 Toyota Taisor standard six airbags
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor has been updated with standard six airbags that now comes across all variants. Earlier, the six airbags option was only offered on the top two variants of the crossover. The Taisor also offers other safety features such as electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, adjustable headrests and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers as standard safety features.
2025 Toyota Taisor new colour
While the Toyota Taisor shares its underpinnings with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, it differentiates with a slightly altered design and different colour options. Toyota has added yet another colour option to the Taisor that is called the Bluish Black. The new colour option takes the colour options count to six, three of which can be specced with a dual-tone roof.

2025 Toyota Taisor price
Back in July 2025, Toyota India silently increased the Taisor price by Rs 2,500 across all variants. Since it now comes with better safety features, the 2025 Toyota Taisor price has gone up once again. Check the price list mentioned below for a complete old vs new price breakup.

As you can see in the table above, the 2025 Taisor price sees a hike of Rs 12,000 across all variants, save for the S+ MT and S+ AMT variants that get a price hike of Rs 8,000.

The Toyota Taisor is available with a 1.2L petrol engine, a 1.0L turbo petrol engine, and a CNG powertrain. All three versions come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the petrol version is also available with an automated manual transmission, and the turbo petrol version comes with an automatic gearbox.

The Toyota Taisor mileage for the manual version is claimed to be 21.71 km/l, while the variant with the automated manual transmission has a mileage of 22.79 km/l. For the Taisor turbo petrol mileage, the manual version gives 21.18 km/l, while the automatic gearbox variant has 19.86 km/l. As for the Taisor CNG mileage, Toyota claims it provides a fuel efficiency of 28.51 km/kg.
