JSW MG Motor India has launched two limited-edition versions of the Hector: the Blackstorm and Snowstorm. Both are priced at Rs 19,99,800 (ex-showroom). The Blackstorm has an all-black exterior. The Snowstorm has a Pearl White body with a Starry Black roof. Both come with a black cabin and a free accessory package. MG has not said how many units will be made.
2026 MG Hector Blackstorm & Snowstorm design

Both 2026 MG Hector Blackstorm & Snowstorm get a new all-black Storm Hex Grille, black front and rear bumper garnishes, Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels and red brake callipers. Dark chrome accents feature on the brand logos, skid plates, tailgate and body-side cladding. The roof rails are finished in piano black, while the LED headlamps get piano black bezels. The connected tail lamps have a smoked finish. The main difference is the body colour: the Blackstorm has an all-black exterior, while the Snowstorm combines Pearl White with a Starry Black roof.

The cabin gets MG's Nimbus Black theme, with all-black leather upholstery and dark accents. The front headrests carry the name of the respective edition, while the leather-wrapped steering wheel gets a gunmetal finish.

2026 MG Hector Blackstorm & Snowstorm editions come with a complimentary STORM Series accessory package fitted by the dealer. It includes edition-specific Blackstorm or Snowstorm badges, a red accent on the tailgate, fog lamp eye shadows with red accents, ORVM protectors with red accents and side step boards.
New MG Hector Blackstorm & Snowstorm features
The Storm editions retain the features of the regular Hector. These include a 14-inch HD portrait touchscreen, which MG claims is the largest in the segment. The screen uses Smart Boost technology for quicker response and supports i-SWIPE gestures. Drivers can use two- and three-finger gestures to control the air conditioning, music and navigation.
Other features include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-colour ambient lighting, an automatic powered tailgate and an air purifier with a PM2.5 filter. The SUV also gets rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors and a Digital Bluetooth Key with key sharing, predictive maintenance alerts and remote AC control. The i-SMART connected technology package offers more than 70 connected car features. These include remote control of the audio system, air conditioning and ambient lighting through the app.

Safety features include a 360-degree HD camera with Wheel View, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Program, Traction Control System, Hill Hold Control and Brake Assist. Both editions also come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Engine and transmission
Both editions use a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. Both versions are available only as five-seaters.

The MG Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm are priced at Rs 19,99,800 (ex-showroom). MG is offering financing of up to 100% of the on-road price for up to 84 months. The offer also covers the edition-specific accessories.
Both editions are covered by MG SHIELD's 3+3+3 package. It includes a three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance and three labour-free periodic services. Buyers can also opt for an extended warranty, extended roadside assistance and Protect Plans, which are prepaid maintenance packages.
