The 2026 Tata Safari Petrol full price list is out, with the base model starting at Rs 13.29 lakh and the top-spec variant going up to Rs 25.19 lakh. The petrol lineup includes Smart, Pure X, Adventure X+, Accomplished X, Accomplished X+, and the all-new Accomplished Ultra.
You can also get the Safari petrol in a Dark Edition, while the Red Dark Edition is exclusive to the Accomplished Ultra. The SUV comes standard as a 7-seater but select trims — Accomplished X+ and Ultra — are also available in a 6-seater layout. 2026 Tata Safari Petrol design
On the outside, the new Tata Safari Petrol looks much like the diesel version. It comes in six colours: pure grey, frost white, daytona grey, royal blue, supernova copper, and cosmic gold. Top trims, like the Accomplished X and Accomplished X+, are also available in dual-tone finishes.
The Dark Edition, available on both petrol and diesel models, comes in an oberon black finish. The Stealth Edition, limited to the diesel Accomplished X+ variant, features a matte stealth black exterior. The Safari Red Dark edition, exclusive to the Accomplished Ultra petrol variant, wears a carbon black finish.
New Tata Safari Petrol features
The new Tata Safari Petrol gets a few updates. It now has a 14- or 14.5-inch Samsung touchscreen infotainment system, Dolby Atmos, and a 10-speaker JBL audio setup.
Other feature highlights include 19-inch alloy wheels, Alexa Home2Car and Car2Home connectivity, sliding armrest, air purifier with AQI display, ventilated seats, gesture-controlled powered tailgate, voice-assisted dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, VisionSync memory ORVMs, dual-camera washers, and fast-charge USB Type-C ports.
Safety features include up to seven airbags, front parking sensors, hill descent control, TPMS, traction control, ISOFIX mounts, hill assist, ABS with auto-hold, brake disc wiping, panic brake alert, after-impact braking, and ADAS Level 2+ with 22 functions, among others.

The new Tata Safari petrol is powered by a 1.5-litre Hyperion unit, delivering 170PS of power and 280Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AISIN torque converter automatic. This same unit is also used in the new Tata Harrier petrol.

2026 Tata Safari Petrol price list
The new Tata Safari Petrol starts at Rs 13.29 lakh, while the diesel variants begin at Rs 14.66 lakh, creating a difference of Rs 1.37 lakh. At the top end, the petrol trim goes up to Rs 25.19 lakh, while the diesel reaches Rs 25.95 lakh, a gap of Rs 75,900.
