BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic Launched as New Entry Variant — Rs 8 Lakh Cheaper

BYD India has launched the Sealion 7 Dynamic, the new base variant of its flagship eSUV. The lineup was previously offered in two variants, Premium and Performance, but now expands to three trims with the addition of the Dynamic. Priced at an introductory Rs 41.90 lakh, the new variant is Rs 8 lakh cheaper than the previous entry-level Premium. It uses a 71.8kWh Blade Battery and has a claimed range of 520km (NEDC).

The BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic is available in four exterior colours: Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White and Shark Grey. Inside, it gets an all-black cabin.
BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic battery, power, & range
The BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic uses a 71.8kWh Blade Battery and a rear-wheel-drive setup, with the electric motor producing 231PS and 380Nm. It has a claimed range of 520km and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds.

On the features front, the BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic comes with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10-speaker Dynaudio sound system and a wireless phone charger. Other features include dual-zone automatic climate control, rear AC vents, an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a 6-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, ventilated front seats and an auto-dimming IRVM.
The Dynamic variant also gets a panoramic glass roof, one-touch powered tailgate, electrically adjustable and heated ORVMs, and double-glazed soundproof glass.

Safety features onboard
Safety features include 11 airbags, dual-stage seatbelt pretensioners for the front and rear seats, front and rear seatbelt reminders, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX mounts, auto hold, lane departure warning, front and rear cross-traffic alert and braking, door-open warning and blind-spot detection. However, the entry-level Dynamic misses out on the Driver Attention Warning and head-up display offered on the higher variants.

BYD India has rolled out its 'Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD' festive offer for August. With the launch of the new Sealion 7 Dynamic during the offer period, buyers can also avail these benefits. The offer includes a complimentary 7kW home charger with installation, 10 years of roadside assistance (RSA), and an extended warranty for the LFP low-voltage battery for 10 years or 1.5 lakh km, whichever comes first.
