First all-in-one Tesla centre opens in Gurgaon — All you need to know!

Tesla opened its first showroom in India at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex on July 15, 2025. The company followed up with a second showroom at Worldmark 3, Aerocity, New Delhi on August 11. Most recently, Tesla launched its third centre in Gurgaon. What makes the Gurgaon location particularly interesting is that it’s the first dedicated, all-in-one Tesla centre in India. It brings together test drives, after-sales service, vehicle maintenance, and charging under one roof, giving customers a complete Tesla experience in a single place.

Gurgon welcomes Tesla’s first all-in-one centre

The Tesla Gurgaon Centre is located in Sector 48, Gurugram. Unlike Tesla’s earlier showrooms in Mumbai and Delhi, which were focused mainly on displaying vehicles, scheduling test drives, and charging. The Gurgaon centre brings a much wider range of services under one roof. Buyers can place bookings, test drives, retail purchases, after-sales service, vehicle delivery, and even charging at the V4 Superchargers all from a single location ,making it very convenient and accessible.

The centre will be led by Sharad Agarwal, known for nearly a decade as Head of Lamborghini India. His experience in luxury automotive retail will bring depth and perspective to Tesla’s operations in India.

Tesla Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot at Gurgoan centre

To add a technological edge, Tesla has introduced the Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot at the facility. Launched in December 2023, the robot can walk, run, perform advanced hand tasks, maintain balance, and interact with its environment using 11 degrees of freedom and tactile sensors, among other capabilities.

Tesla Model Y — First model for India

The Model Y, the best-selling Tesla globally, comes to India in standard and long-range variants with rear wheel drive only. While the RWD variant is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh ex-showroom, the Long Range RWD variant is priced at Rs 67.89 lakh ex-showroom. Interestingly, Tesla is also offering a Full Self-Driving package, which will be offered via an update in the future, for an additional Rs 6 lakh. Interested Tesla buyers in India can book the Model Y with a token amount of Rs 22,220. 

Tesla Model Y battery, performance and range

The Tesla Model Y comes to India with two battery pack options, the capacity of which remains undisclosed at the moment. The Tesla Model Y RWD range stands at 500km (WLTP-certified) whereas the Long Range RWD range stands at 622km (WLTP-certified). Despite having a larger battery capacity, the Long Range offers faster acceleration to 100kmph at 5.6 seconds—0.3 seconds faster than the standard RWD variant. Coming to the charging infrastructure, the Model Y can achieve 267km worth of range in 15 minutes of charge via a 250kW Supercharger.
