Honda’s total sales rose 10.8% year-on-year in August 2026, with 7,508 units sold compared with 6,774 units in August 2025. Domestic sales were the main support, growing 39.9% to 5,385 units. However, exports fell 27.4% to 2,123 units, which limited the overall growth.

Sharing his thoughts on the sales performance, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “August delivered a strong sales performance with 40% growth in domestic sales driven by robust festive demand starting from Onam and good response to New City and ZR-V. We remain optimistic of retaining this momentum and building on the strong customer response across our portfolio.”
