Hyundai adds phone-controlled immobiliser to Venue HX10, N Line N10

Hyundai has added a new Bluelink Remote Immobiliser feature to the Venue and Venue N Line. It gives owners another way to protect their cars from theft using their smartphone. The feature is available on the ccNC-equipped Venue HX10 and Venue N Line N10 variants. Hyundai has also confirmed that the feature will be standard on all its upcoming connected models.
How Hyundai's remote immobiliser works
The remote immobiliser can be switched on through the Hyundai Bluelink app. Once activated, the system stops the vehicle from being restarted after it has been switched off. This means owners can stop a stolen vehicle from being driven again even when they are not near the car. The Bluelink system also provides live location tracking, which can help owners or the authorities track the vehicle.
Together, remote immobilisation and live tracking give owners more control over a stolen vehicle than traditional security features such as alarms or steering locks.
Which Hyundai Venue variants get the remote immobiliser
The feature is currently available only on the ccNC-equipped Venue HX10 and Venue N Line N10 variants. These versions come with Hyundai's Navigation Cockpit system, which provides the connected features needed for the remote immobiliser. Lower variants without ccNC will not get this feature as they do not have the required connected-car hardware.

How existing and new Hyundai Venue owners get the feature
Owners of eligible Venue HX10 and Venue N Line N10 models bought since November 2025 will receive the remote immobiliser through an over-the-air software update. They will not need to visit a service centre to get the feature. From September 2026, new ccNC-equipped Venue HX10 and Venue N Line N10 units will get the remote immobiliser directly from the factory.
Other Hyundai Venue safety features
The Hyundai Venue gets a strong standard safety package across all variants, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, VSM, Hill-Start Assist Control, 3-point seat belts for all seats, seatbelt reminders and rear parking sensors. It also gets ISOFIX mounts, a tyre pressure monitoring system, speed-sensing auto door locks, and impact-sensing auto door unlock.
The top-spec HX10 adds Hyundai’s Level 2 ADAS package with features such as Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Following Assist and Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist. It also gets front and side parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and Blind-spot View Monitor.
