Outline

Hyundai Motor India will increase prices across its entire model range from September 2026. This will be the carmaker's third price hike of the year. The company confirmed the revision through a regulatory filing and said prices will increase by up to 1%. The exact hike will vary depending on the model and variant.

Why Hyundai is raising prices again

Kia Creta Electric

Hyundai has cited rising input and commodity costs, higher operating expenses, and ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainty as the reasons for the latest price hike. The company said it has absorbed part of these higher costs but now needs to pass some of the burden on to buyers.

Hyundai's third price hike of 2026

This is Hyundai's third price hike in 2026. The company first increased prices by 0.6% from January 1, followed by another 1% hike from June 1. With the latest 1% increase, Hyundai's total price hike this year will come to around 2.6%.

The repeated price increases point to continued cost pressure rather than a one-time adjustment. Buyers planning to purchase a Hyundai may want to factor in the upcoming price revision before the new prices take effect in September.

How much more will Hyundai cars cost from September 2026?

alcazar

Hyundai has not yet announced the revised prices for each model and variant. However, the company has confirmed that the price increase will range from Rs 7,767 to Rs 23,672, depending on the model and variant. As the hike is capped at around 1%, more affordable Hyundai models will see a smaller increase in rupee terms. Higher-priced models, such as the Alcazar and Creta Electric, will see a larger increase.
