The details of the upcoming Kia Carens Clavis EV HTM variant have been leaked ahead of its launch, which is likely to take place soon. The Carens Clavis EV HTM variant is said to be based on the HTK+ variant of the electric MPV and comes with fleet-vehicle-related features.

Speaking of the key feature modifications it boasts over standard Carens EV, the HTM variant incorporates a GPS tracker with 6 panic buttons inside the cabin, 80kmph speed limiter and child lock removal for enhanced safety for the passengers. Coming to the standard suite of features of the Carens Clavis EV HTM variant, it gets LED headlights, LED tail lights, LED fog lights, 16-inch aero alloy wheels, active air flaps and rear wiper with defogger.
Coming to the creature comfort features, the Carens Clavis EV HTM offers electric one-touch tumble for 2nd-row seats, swappable temperature and media controls panel, smart key with push-button start/stop, dual 12.25-inch screens, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, electric parking brake with auto hold, reverse parking camera, drive modes and paddle shifters for adaptive brake energy regeneration.

The Kia Carens Clavis EV HTM variant comes with the smaller 42kWh battery pack. It channels power to a front mounted electric motor that puts out 135PS and 255Nm of torque. The Kia Carens Clavis EV HTM range is claimed at 404km as per the ARAI testing standards.

While Kia India is yet to officially launch the Carens Clavis EV HTM variant, the leaked document reveals the ex-showroom price as well. The Kia Carens Clavis EV HTM price is likely to be Rs 18.19 lakh ex-showroom which is Rs 20,000 more expensive than the variant it’s based on—HTK+ 42kWh.
