Kia Carens Clavis mileage revealed — turbo petrol and diesel claimed mileage

Kia India recently took the wraps off its latest model for India — the Carens Clavis. In this article, we share the Kia Carens Clavis mileage of the turbocharged petrol and turbocharged diesel engine options. Kia India is yet to reveal the mileage figure for the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that’s only available with a manual transmission option. As you can see in the table above, the most-efficient powertrain option in the Carens Clavis range is the diesel manual, which offers a claimed mileage of 19.54kmpl. The diesel automatic, on the other hand, offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.50kmpl. Coming to the Kia Carens Clavis petrol mileage, the fuel efficiency of the manual and iMT transmission options is exactly the same, at 15.95kmpl. The turbo petrol DCT mileage is actually better than that of the manual, standing at 16.66kmpl claimed.

Kia Carens Clavis launch date

Kia India is likely to launch the Carens Clavis on May 23, 2025. Kia Carens Clavis bookings are already open for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Once launched, the Kia Carens Clavis will go against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki XL6, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, Toyota Innova Crysta and Hyundai Alcazar
