Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition production expanded to 999 units

Originally planned as an ultra-exclusive model capped at 300 units, the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition will now see a significantly larger production run. Following overwhelming demand from both superhero fans and car collectors, Mahindra has decided to release 999 units of this special edition SUV. Bookings and availability

The booking window for the BE 6 Batman Edition will open at 11 am on August 23, with pre-bookings starting at 5 pm on August 21 via the official Mahindra Electric SUVs website. Interested buyers can log on to Mahindra website and register their interest before the official bookings commence.

Exclusive design and styling

The Batman Edition stands out with its satin black matte paint, complemented by piano black detailing on the bumpers, cladding, ORVMs, and running boards. Distinctive touches include a large Batman decal on the doors, 20-inch alloy wheels (exclusive to this edition), and gold-painted brake calipers and suspension components.

Special interior highlights

Adding to the exclusivity, the BE 6 Batman Edition features a Batman hologram integrated into the illuminated ‘Infinity’ panoramic glass roof, while an ‘Alchemy’ gold halo surrounds the driver’s seat. Each unit also carries a numbered plaque, marking its place in the limited production run.

Based on the top-spec Pack Three variant, the Batman Edition is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack with an ARAI-certified range of 682 km. It comes equipped with a single electric motor producing 286PS and 380 Nm. Launched at Rs 27.79 lakh ex-showroom, the BE 6 Batman Edition commands a premium of Rs 89,000 over the standard Pack Three variant, offering exclusive styling, unique features, and collector appeal.
