- 3More details expected to follow in the next few weeks
Mahindra is known to make product announcements at Independence Day every year, and the carmaker has teased four concepts ahead of this year’s event. While details about the cars are scarce at the moment, we have a few expectations of what they could be. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming Mahindra concepts.
Mahindra Vision T

The first concept revealed seems to be an iteration of the Thar electric, donning a squared-off bonnet, an extended bumper, and all-terrain tyres. The Thar electric concept made its debut in South Africa back in 2023, and we might see a nearer-to-production version of the same next month.

Mahindra Vision S

We can’t say anything concrete about the Vision S, though it might have to do something with the Scorpio family because of the ‘S’ suffix. There’s also a possibility of it being a near-to-production version of the Mahindra Global Pik Up that has been showcased at auto shows in the past.
Mahindra Vision SXT

Not much can be said about the SXT either, at the moment. The teaser hints at a rugged SUV, perhaps an extension of the Thar family.

Mahindra Vision X

The Vision X looks like an urban-ish vehicle with smooth lines instead of the aggressive bumpers and flared out wheel arches. It could either be the Mahindra XUV700 electric (or XEV 7e), or a hybrid version of the XUV 3XO, which is also expected to soon be launched.
