Maruti Suzuki India Limited has expanded its Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) in Gurugram under its CSR initiative. Announced on October 19, 2026, the expansion is being carried out with the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) and Gurugram Police.
The second phase adds 1,000 cameras and radar units, taking the total to 1,400 across the city. The system now covers 93 junctions and 13 road stretches.
What is the Integrated Traffic Management System?

The Integrated Traffic Management System uses cameras and radar to detect traffic violations and automatically read vehicle number plates. The data is sent to the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), where authorities can take action. The system monitors offences such as riding without a helmet, triple riding, red-light jumping, over-speeding and wrong-side driving.

| Phase 2 | 1,000 | About 70 | 9 (65 km) |
| Total | 1,400 | 93 | 13 |
Maruti Suzuki has allocated around Rs 75 crore under CSR for both phases. The cameras are linked to the ICCC, and GMDA's existing CCTV network will also be connected to the centre.
