The 2026 e vitara ARAI range is quoted at more than 500 km which puts it in a reassuring zone for long daily use. Maruti has also rolled out the Maruti Suzuki ‘e for me’ EV charging mobile app, making it easier to find and manage charging points without any guesswork.
With the basics sorted, let’s dig into the e Vitara price expectation, features, battery, range and everything else you’d want to know to understand what this electric SUV actually brings to the table.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara dimensions & boot space
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara dimensions list out as 4275 mm in length, 1800 mm in width and 1640 mm in height. Its wheelbase stretches to 2700 mm. These proportions give the cabin enough headroom and legroom to feel comfortable without trying.
The 2026 Maruti e Viatar boot space can expand up to 306 litres as you adjust the rear seat giving you a bit more room when you need it.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara features and safety

On the feature front, the 2026 Maruti e Vitara comes packed with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, connected car technology, multi-colour ambient lighting, PM 2.5 air filter, 10-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, and fixed glass roof.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara powertrain specifications — New ownership schemes

The Maruti e-Vitara comes with two battery options: a 49 kWh pack and a 61 kWh pack. The smaller 49 kWh battery produces 144PS and 189Nm of torque. The larger 61 kWh version delivers 174PS and 189Nm in the 2WD model, while the AWD variant boosts torque to 300Nm.
What makes things even more intriguing is Maruti’s plan to offer the e-SUV not just in the usual buy-and-own format but also through subscription and Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) options. It’s a move a lot of people will keep an eye on. MG tested the waters with the Windsor EV. Now Maruti Suzuki joining in shows the idea isn’t a one-off experiment anymore.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara range
The Maruti e Vitara range with the smaller 49 kWh battery pack is claimed to reach 344 km. On the other hand, the Maruti e Vitara 61kwh range is rated at 543 km according to ARAI.
2026 Maruti e Vitara charging network — Full EV ecosystem around its 1st e-SUV
The Maruti e Vitara is the brand’s first EV, and Maruti is laying out the ecosystem to support it. The company has signed agreements with 13 Charge Point Operators. The brand has also added more than 2,000 charging points across 1,100 cities and plans to grow that network to over one lakh by 2030. Alongside this, over 1,500 workshops are now EV-ready, backed by a 1.5-lakh trained workforce.
The Maruti Suzuki ‘e for me’ app lets owners access both partner and Maruti charging points on a single platform, with payments via UPI or ‘Maruti Suzuki Money’ powered by Razorpay. From booking the e Vitara, the app helps set up a home charger, locate and use public chargers, and manage multiple EV functions. Key features highlighted by the brand include Tap N Charge, smart-home charger control, in-car app mirroring, and end-to-end EV charging management.
To show the system works beyond paper, Maruti is launching a nationwide e drive, with four e Vitara Born EVs heading from Gurugram to Srinagar, Kanyakumari, Dibrugarh and Bhuj.
