Maruti Ertiga CNG prices hiked

The CNG-powered Ertiga, available only with a manual gearbox in VXI and ZXI trims, has seen a steeper revision of Rs 10,000 per variant. The VXI CNG Manual now costs Rs 10,86,300 while the ZXI CNG Manual is priced at Rs 11,92,500. The larger CNG hike compared to the petrol range is consistent with how Maruti has treated CNG pricing revisions across multiple models this June.
| Variant | Engine / Gearbox | Old Price | New Price | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VXI | 1.5L CNG - Manual | Rs 10,76,300 | Rs 10,86,300 | +Rs 10,000 |
| ZXI | 1.5L CNG - Manual | Rs 11,82,500 | Rs 11,92,500 | +Rs 10,000 |
Market context
The Ertiga remains one of the leading MPVs in India and competes directly with the Kia Carens and Renault Triber in the family MPV segment. The CNG version is particularly popular given its running cost advantage. Despite the price revision, the Ertiga CNG retains a strong value proposition in the sub-Rs 12 lakh bracket for an MPV with CNG capability. The revision appears to be part of Maruti's broader June 2026 pricing cycle, which has affected multiple models, including the Dzire and WagonR.
