MG Comet EV prices have been revised in July 2026 across the Executive, Excite, and Exclusive trims, with the price hike going up to Rs 17,000. After the revision, the MG Comet EV lineup continues to start at Rs 7.79 lakh for the Executive and goes up to Rs 10.06 lakh (ex-showroom) for the range-topping Exclusive FC.

The biggest price hike has been applied to the MG Comet Executive, Excite, and Excite FC variants, all of which are now Rs 17,000 more expensive than before. The Exclusive and Exclusive FC, meanwhile, receive a smaller increase of Rs 7,000.
The revision has also changed the gap between a few variants. The difference between the Executive and Excite remains Rs 1.10 lakh, but the gap between the Excite and Exclusive has narrowed from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 90,000. The same Rs 90,000 difference now exists between the Excite FC and Exclusive FC as well. Even after the revision, the MG Comet EV lineup continues to start at Rs 7.79 lakh for the Executive and goes up to Rs 10.06 lakh (ex-showroom) for the range-topping Exclusive FC.

The MG Comet EV is available in six variants under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. Prices now start at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Executive variant and go up to Rs 7.63 lakh for the Blackstorm Edition. The Excite, Excite FC, Exclusive, and Exclusive FC are priced at Rs 6.09 lakh, Rs 6.36 lakh, Rs 7.09 lakh, and Rs 7.36 lakh, respectively.
Across the entire lineup, the battery rental charge remains unchanged at Rs 3.2 per km. This means the only difference between variants is the vehicle price, while the battery subscription cost stays the same regardless of the trim buyers choose.
MG Comet EV battery specs
The MG Comet EV comes with a 17.3kWh battery pack and its electric motor delivers 42PS of power and 110Nm of torque, paired with an automatic gearbox. The MG Comet range is claimed to be around 230km on a full charge. With a 7.4KW charger, it takes about 3.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100%, and with a 3.3KW charger, the full charge takes around 7 hours.
