New Hector prices have gone up since launch. But, not across the board. Depending on the variant you’re looking at, you’re now paying about Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 more. The 2026 MG Hector petrol 5-seater lineup has seen a uniform price revision across all variants except the entry-level Style trim. The Select Pro, Smart Pro, and all their transmission options have gone up by Rs 30,000 — the steepest increase in this segment. The Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro variants have seen a comparatively softer Rs 20,000 hike.
The base Style variant at Rs 11.99 lakh remains untouched, making it the only price-stable option in the entire 5-seater petrol range.

The 7-seater Hector facelift — sold under the Hector Plus nameplate — is available only in the Sharp Pro MT, Sharp Pro CVT, and Savvy Pro CVT trims. All three options have been revised upward by Rs 20,000 each. At Rs 19.69 lakh, the Savvy Pro CVT 7-seater remains the flagship of the petrol lineup, bringing in the full ADAS suite, front ventilated seats, 8-colour ambient lighting and the captain seat configuration.
2026 MG Hector Diesel — Specifications, Variant, and Pricing
The MG Hector facelift diesel is offered in a single variant, the Sharp Pro (O), available only in the 7-seater configuration. It is priced at Rs 19,99,800.
It uses a 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, with no automatic option. While MG hasn’t shared detailed power and torque figures, this engine is known for strong pulling power, making it well-suited for highway drives and hilly terrain.
The Sharp Pro (O) sits between the Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro in terms of features. It includes a 14-inch HD infotainment screen, 6 airbags, TPMS, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic stability program, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, push-button start with smart entry, and a leatherette interior. The full ADAS suite is not available on this diesel variant and remains limited to the petrol Savvy Pro.
