MG Hector Plus gets costlier in July 2026 — Here are the updated prices for all variants

The MG Hector Plus gets a selective price revision in July 2026. Only the petrol variants have become costlier by Rs 30,800 to Rs 50,800, while the diesel variants continue at their existing prices. The petrol lineup is now priced from Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom), leaving a Rs 2 lakh gap between the entry and top-spec variant.

The MG Hector Plus petrol lineup now starts with the Sharp Pro 7S manual at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 50,800 more expensive than before. The Sharp Pro 7S CVT is now priced at Rs 19.09 lakh after a Rs 30,800 hike, while the range-topping Savvy Pro 7S CVT now costs Rs 19.99 lakh following the same Rs 30,800 increase.

 

The price gap between the manual and CVT versions of the Sharp Pro has narrowed slightly. Earlier, the difference stood at Rs 1.30 lakh, but it has now reduced to Rs 1.10 lakh because the manual variant received a bigger price hike. Meanwhile, the gap between the Sharp Pro CVT and the Savvy Pro CVT remains unchanged at Rs 90,000, as both variants received an identical increase.

 

MG Hector Plus petrol specs

 

Powering the MG Hector Plus petrol is a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The SUV also gets a 60-litre fuel tank.

 

MG Hector Plus diesel remains unaffected

The MG Hector Plus diesel continues without any price revision in July 2026. It is offered in a single Sharp Pro (O) 7-seater variant, which remains priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Power comes from a 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is no automatic transmission option with the diesel model.

 

The Sharp Pro (O) comes with a 14-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags, TPMS, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic stability control (ESC), a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, push-button start with smart entry, and leatherette upholstery. However, the Level 2 ADAS package is not available on the diesel variant and continues to be offered only with the top-spec petrol Savvy Pro.
