MG M9 and Cyberster Couture Edition launch in India — Deliveries to begin soon

MG Select has announced launch prices for the Couture Editions of the MG M9 and MG Cyberster, priced at Rs 84.94 lakh and Rs 87.49 lakh, respectively. These editions are created in partnership with internationally acclaimed designer Gaurav Gupta. Apart from the design, no other revisions have been made. Features and under-the-hood specifications remain as they were.

MG M9 and Cyberster Couture Edition launch — How the collaboration began

The partnership between MG SELECT and Gaurav Gupta began earlier this year. An interpretation of the MG Cyberster was displayed at the opening of Gupta’s menswear flagship store in New Delhi, marking the first step in the collaboration between fashion and automotive design.

The partnership continued with Gupta’s ‘Light Song’ couture collection showcase in Mumbai on July 17. MG SELECT was the Official Automobile Partner for the event and unveiled the MG M9 and MG Cyberster Couture Editions, bringing elements of the collection’s design to the two vehicles.

Both the MG M9 and Cyberster Couture Editions are inspired by Gaurav Gupta's signature Serpent Infinity design theme. They get exclusive exterior and interior design elements, along with handcrafted details influenced by the designer's couture collection. The Cyberster was also displayed as part of Gupta's Light Song collection in Mumbai, highlighting the collaboration between the automotive and fashion worlds.

Apart from these cosmetic updates, nothing else has changed. Both models retain the same features, powertrain, and performance as the standard versions, with the Couture Editions differing only in their design.

MG M9 and Cyberster Couture Edition availability and bookings

The Couture Edition kit is limited to 50 units each for the MG M9 and MG Cyberster. It will be available through MG SELECT Experience Centres across 14 cities in India. MG SELECT’s regular Experience Centre network currently covers 13 cities, with the Couture Editions also offered in one additional city.

Reservations for both models are now open through the MG SELECT website. Customers can also contact the MG SELECT Elite Hub by email or through its toll-free number for more information. Deliveries of the MG M9 and MG Cyberster Couture Editions will begin on August 10, 2026. The Couture Edition kit is an optional add-on, with its price charged separately from the ex-showroom price of the standard models.
