Big price cut on MG Hector — Up to Rs 2.14 lakh less to pay

MG Motor India recently celebrated its 6th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, they’ve cut prices on the MG Hector by up to Rs 2.14 lakh. It’s a clear gesture to attract buyers. At the same time, the entry-level Style trim has seen its price rise by Rs 25,000. These price changes are only valid for a limited period.

The MG Hector manual trims — Shine Pro, Select Pro, Smart Pro, and Sharp Pro — have seen price cuts ranging from Rs 81,000 up to Rs 2.14 lakh. On the CVT side, the price drop goes up to Rs 1.96 lakh across various variants. All MG Hector petrol prices mentioned in the table above are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Diesel variants have also seen significant price cuts recently. The Sharp Pro MT, Blackstorm MT, and Snowstorm MT trims have dropped by Rs 1.44 lakh each. Meanwhile, the base trims haven’t been left out either — the Shine Pro is down by Rs 31,000 and the Select Pro by Rs 1.03 lakh.

The MG Hector comes with two engine options: a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, which is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT, and a 2.0L diesel engine, which is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
