Skoda Kodiaq gets a price hike in May 2026 — New prices, what changed, & what did not
- 1Skoda has revised Kodiaq prices upward for two of the three variants in 2026
- 2L&K (Laurin and Klement) top trim gets the steepest hike
- 3Base Lounge variant is completely untouched with zero price change
Skoda has quietly revised the Kodiaq prices upward and this marks the second time the car has seen a hike in 2026. The first round came in the early months of the year and this latest revision pushes two variants higher while leaving the entry Lounge exactly where it was. The base Lounge is the only trim that has been completely spared this time.
2026 Skoda Kodiaq price hike — New prices across all variants

The Kodiaq comes in three trims in India — Lounge, Sportline and L&K. All sit in the premium family SUV bracket. Here is the complete old vs new price comparison.
| Skoda Kodiaq | Old Price (Ex-showroom) | Price Hike | New Price (Ex-showroom) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sportline | Rs 43,76,400 | +Rs 22,600 | Rs 43,99,000 |
| L&K (Laurin and Klement) | Rs 45,95,733 | +Rs 53,267 | Rs 46,49,000 |
The Skoda Kodiaq Sportline's Rs 22,600 hike is modest and keeps it just under the Rs 44 lakh mark. The L&K's Rs 53,267 jump is the more notable move and takes the top variant to Rs 46,49,000. The gap between Sportline and L&K now stands at Rs 2,50,000 which gives buyers a reasonably clear sense of what the premium for the top trim costs them.

Skoda Kodiaq Variant that got away
While the prices of two variants have gone up, the Skoda Kodiaq Lounge remains unchanged. At Rs 39,99,000, it is now the only variant available at the pre-hike price, which makes it more appealing in this segment.
The 2026 Kodiaq Lounge comes as a 5-seater, while the Sportline and L&K are offered as 7-seaters. For buyers who do not need a third row, this is actually an advantage. It offers more legroom for rear passengers and makes the boot space bigger.

In terms of features, the Lounge is well-equipped. It gets 18-inch alloy wheels, full LED headlights with a light strip, panoramic sunroof, large touchscreen infotainment system, and digital instrument cluster. It also offers comfortable front seats with heating, cooling, and massage functions, wireless charging for two phones, easy-to-use climate controls, ambient lighting, hands-free boot opening, and keyless entry, among others.
