The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift has been launched recently, with prices starting at Rs 6.89 lakh. It continues with the familiar engine options—petrol, CNG, and diesel. The claimed fuel efficiency figures for the CNG and diesel variants have also been revealed in India. In this article, I’ll be focusing only on the Tata Altroz diesel mileage figure, so keep reading to find out all the details.
2025 Tata Altroz diesel mileage
The 2025 Tata Altroz diesel has a claimed mileage of 23.60 kmpl, which is slightly lower than what the CNG powertrain offers. Interestingly, the older Altroz had a claimed mileage of 23.64 kmpl, about 0.04 kmpl more than the new Altroz diesel variant.
New Tata Altroz diesel specs
The 2025 Tata Altroz diesel engine comes with a 1.5-litre capacity and a 4-cylinder. It produces 90PS of power and 200Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The 2025 Tata Altroz Pure, priced at Rs 8.99 lakh, the Creative S at Rs 10.35 lakh, and the Accomplished S at Rs 11.29 lakh are the only trims available with the diesel powertrain option. On the other hand, the Altroz offers a wider range of variants with petrol and CNG engines, with prices starting at Rs 6.89 lakh and Rs 7.89 lakh, respectively.
