The Tata Altroz is set to be launched in the Indian market this month and ahead of its launch, a clear set of leaked images have emerged online. The new images reveal the detailed changes on the outside and inside, giving a clearer idea of what to expect from the upcoming Tata Altroz facelift.

 

Tata Altroz facelift exterior changes

 

The updated Tata Altroz facelift comes with a slew of design updates over the model it replaces. At the front, we get to see a reworked fascia featuring a bolder radiator grille, flanked by LED headlights with integrated DRLs, LED fog lights and sportier front bumper with vertical extensions. Around the side, the Altroz facelift features dual-tone machined alloy wheels and flush fit door handles with illumination. Lastly at the rear, it features connected LED tail lights, reprofiled bumper and Altroz badging spread across the boot lid.

Tata Altroz facelift interior and features

 

On the inside, the Altoz facelift features an all-new dashboard, featuring a layered layout with multiple colour palettes. The upper part of the dashboard features gold inserts along with a golden leatherette finish for the steering wheel. On the features front, the Altroz facelift features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, electric sunroof and surround view camera. Other changes on the inside include a new gear selector and new layout for the AC controls.

 

Tata Altroz facelift powertrain options

 

Expect Tata to offer the same set of powertrain options as the current model, which includes 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT, a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 6-speed manual gearbox, the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit with the normal petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual. Notably, the Tata Altroz diesel is the only hatchback in its segment to still be offered with a diesel engine.

Tata Altroz facelift launch date

 

The new Tata Altroz India launch shall take place on May 22, 2025, with the car going against other popular hatchbacks in India like the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Baleno. The new Tata Altroz price in India is expected to start northwards of Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom).
