Tata Punch EV waiting period in India — Variant-wise wait from base to top post facelift
- 1Tata Punch EV facelift waiting period now goes up to 7 months in India
- 2Launched in 5 trims: Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, & Empowered+
- 3Tata Punch EV Prices range from Rs 9.69 lakh to Rs 12.59 lakh
The new Tata Punch EV facelift waiting period currently stretches up to 10 weeks in India, especially for the base trims. Higher variants are relatively easier to get, so the variant you choose will directly affect how long you may have to wait.
At the same time, the Tata Punch EV waiting period is not fixed. If your preferred variant, colour option or battery pack is already available at your nearest dealership, the delivery time can be shorter. In the end, factors like demand for specific variants, availability and even your location can impact the actual waiting period for buyers.
New Tata Punch EV Smart waiting period
The waiting period for the 2026 Tata Punch EV Smart variant currently ranges from 8 to 10 weeks. In simple terms, that means a wait of roughly 2 to 3 months. The same waiting period is also seen in the Smart+ variant, but this mainly applies to trims equipped with the 30 kWh battery pack.

So if you are planning to go for the entry-level trims of the Tata Punch EV facelift, you should be ready for a longer waiting time compared to other variants.
2026 Tata Punch EV waiting period for other trims
The waiting period becomes slightly more manageable once you move to the bigger battery variants. The Tata Punch EV Smart+ with the 40 kWh battery, along with other trims like Adventure 40, Empowered+ 40, and Empowered+ S 40, currently have a waiting period of around 7 to 8 weeks. This comes down to roughly 2 months, which is still a wait, but slightly better compared to the base variants.
