It also brings something new to the segment: a CNG-AMT combination. For the first time, CNG variants come with paddle shifters on the AMT models. Safety hasn’t been overlooked. After launch, Bharat NCAP awarded the Punch facelift a full 5-star rating for both adult and child occupants.

Tata Punch facelift delivery begins

Tata Punch Facelift

Tata has started delivering the 2026 Punch across the country. The facelifted model is produced at the Fiat India Automobiles plant in Ranjangaon, Pune, Maharashtra, a joint venture between Tata Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. This facility also handles the production of other Tata models, including some of their sub-compact SUVs.

Up front, the Punch gets longer LED DRLs, a slimmer grille, updated projector headlamps, and new twin-pod fog lamps. The redesigned bumper adds a chunkier, more confident look. At the rear, it features connected LED tail lamps, a revised bumper with silver skid plate, roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and rear wiper. New 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels complete the refreshed, sportier exterior.

Tata has also updated the colour palette. The facelift offers a mix of fresh and familiar options, including Cyantafic, Caramel, Bengal Rouge, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds, and Pristine White.

This turbo petrol unit produces 120PS of power and 170Nm of torque, and it is offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission.
