Tata Motors has revealed more details about the upcoming Tata Punch facelift, including the names of its variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S. The subcompact SUV is scheduled to launch in India on January 13, 2026. Tata is also expected to announce the Tata Punch facelift prices on the same day.

At the base level, the new Tata Punch Smart comes with all the essential features you need. Key highlights include LED headlamps and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Safety is covered with six airbags, keeping it in line with current car safety standards.

The 2026 Tata Punch will continue with the same 1.2L petrol engine and CNG option. However, the teaser also hints at a turbo petrol variant.

 

It is likely to feature a 1.2L turbo petrol, 3-cylinder engine, similar to the one in the Tata Nexon, producing 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. This version is expected to come with a 6-speed manual exclusively.
