Outline

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has revised the prices of the Urban Cruiser Taisor as part of its broader April 2026 price update, which also includes the Hyryder, Hilux, Fortuner, and several other models in its lineup. However, the revision is not across the entire Taisor range, as it specifically targets the turbo petrol variants. All regular 1.2-litre petrol trims, along with the CNG variant, remain unchanged.

The Taisor turbo petrol range is now priced Rs 20,000 to Rs 24,000 higher, depending on the variant and gearbox option. Here’s a detailed look at what has changed and what remains the same across the Toyota Taisor lineup.

All prices ex-showroom pan India. Dual-tone options include Cafe White x Midnight Black, Enticing Silver x Midnight Black and Sportin Red x Midnight Black.

Most of the price changes in this revision cycle are focused on the Toyota Taisor’s turbo petrol range. The manual turbo variants are hiked by Rs 20,000 uniformly across G and V. The G automatic moves up by Rs 22,000 and the V automatic jumps the most at Rs 24,000. Every dual-tone variant in the V trim sees the same hike as its single-tone version, which keeps the dual-tone premium consistent at Rs 16,000 over the standard V.

What the hike does to the pricing landscape is interesting. The G turbo manual now crosses the Rs 10 lakh mark for the first time, sitting at Rs 10,20,000. It was just under at Rs 9,99,900 before. That psychological barrier crossing from a sub-10 lakh car to an over-10 lakh car matters in how buyers mentally position the product. The V turbo automatic, which was always the flagship Taisor trim at Rs 12,23,000 now sits at Rs 12,47,000 with the dual-tone version touching Rs 12,63,000.

Toyota Taisor regular petrol variant prices — zero change across the board

S PlusPetrolAutomaticRs 9,06,000Rs 9,06,000No change

The entry-level Toyota Taisor, priced at Rs 7,25,000, remains unchanged. This is a smart move, as the 1.2-litre petrol variants sit in the sub-9 lakh range where most buyers are. A hike here could have pushed customers towards rivals like the Maruti Fronx or Hyundai Exter. The S and S+ petrol automatic variants, priced at Rs 8,72,000 and Rs 9,06,000 respectively, also see no change.

Toyota Taisor CNG variant price — No hike here either

The CNG variant of the Taisor follows the same story as the petrol range. No change at all.

The Toyota Taisor CNG, priced at Rs 8,24,000, is Rs 99,000 more than the base petrol variant. For buyers in cities with good CNG infrastructure like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad, this cost can be recovered quickly through lower running expenses. However, the CNG option is available only in the base E variant, with no higher trims on offer. Even so, at under Rs 8.5 lakh, it remains one of the more affordable factory-fitted CNG options in the segment.

In addition, the petrol variant also gets an automated manual transmission (AMT), while the turbo-petrol version is available with an automatic gearbox.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the manual petrol variant delivers a claimed 21.71 km/l, while the AMT version offers a slightly higher 22.79 km/l. The turbo-petrol manual returns 21.18 km/l, whereas its automatic counterpart delivers 19.86 km/l. For the CNG variant, Toyota claims a mileage of 28.51 km/kg.
