Mahindra is expected to launch a facelifted version of the 3-door Thar in the next few days, and spy shots of the updated model have been circulating on the internet. New Mahindra Thar facelift spy shots
Latest spy shots of the facelifted Thar reveal a new steering wheel that has been picked up from other popular Mahindra SUVs, a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen for infotainment, and A-pillar-mounted grab handles. While some exterior elements were covered in white film, previous spy shots suggest that it will get the new six slat front grille from the Thar Roxx, a new design for the alloy wheels, and new lights.

Mahindra Thar facelift features
The updated Thar is expected to come with a wider set of features, including 360-degree cameras, automatic climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless smartphone charger.
2025 Mahindra Thar facelift engine options
Mahindra is likely to continue offering the same petrol and diesel engines on the 3-door Thar as the current model. This includes a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual, a 2.2-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor, and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor. It is also expected to continue to come in both RWD and AWD configurations.

Mahindra is expected to launch the new Thar 3-door in the next couple of weeks, though the exact Mahindra Thar facelift launch date is yet to be revealed.
