For budget-conscious buyers, the Renault Triber facelift is queued up among the upcoming MPVs launch in India. Earlier, test mules of this upcoming Triber were already spotted, and intriguingly, this will be its very first major update. It is anticipated to feature a refreshed front with redesigned headlamps, grille, and bumper, while the rear is anticipated to get tweaks around the taillights and possibly the bumper as well.

Inside, the Triber facelift interior is expected to receive updates to the dashboard and upgraded features. Powertrain options are likely to remain unchanged, with the outgoing Triber continuing to offer CNG retrofitting. As for the Triber facelift launch, it is expected to take place later this year.

Nissan Compact MPV

Upcoming Nissan MPV

Another notable model in the upcoming MPVs launch list comes from Nissan, which has earlier revealed plans to introduce a compact MPV in India by early 2026, expected to be called the Gravite. Although details are still under wraps, this new MPV will ride on the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF-A+ platform, the same one that powers the popular Renault Triber.

Early glimpses from the teased picture suggest that the upcoming Nissan compact MPV will feature a boxier, more rugged design. On the inside, it is expected to come with a new, improved cabin, and the features are likely to be more extensive. Production of this new Nissan MPV is set to take place at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai.
