VinFast recently revised prices for the VF6 and VF7 in India. Amid that update, the VF7 has delivered an important result on the safety front. The electric SUV has been tested by Bharat NCAP and earned a full five-star rating for both Adult Occupant Protection and Child Occupant Protection.
The crash tests were conducted on the VF7 Wind and VF7 Sky variants. However, the results apply across the entire VF7 lineup, including Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky, and Sky Infinity trims.

Vinfast VF7 Bharat NCAP rating — Adult occupant protection
Bharat NCAP awarded the VinFast VF7 28.54 out of 32 for adult occupant protection. In the frontal offset crash test, the VF7 scored 12.54 out of 16. Most parts of the body were well protected, though a few areas left some room for improvement. The chest showed weak protection, while the lower legs were rated as adequately protected.
Side-impact safety is where the VF7 really looks convincing. In the VINFsst VF7 crash test, all key areas received good protection ratings. Even in the side impact test, the dummy showed good protection across the board.

VinFast VF7 safety rating — How it performed in child safety tests
In child occupant protection, the VinFast VF crash test showed a score of 45.25 out of 49 points. In the dynamic crash tests, the VF7 scored 23.25 out of 24, demonstrating stable protection for both 18-month-old and 3-year-old child dummies in frontal and side impacts. The tests used i-Size compliant child restraints, with rearward-facing seats where required.
Installation of child seats was flawless, earning a full 12 out of 12 points. This means ISOFIX anchors in the VF7 allow child seats to be fitted securely and correctly. In the vehicle-based assessment, the VF7 scored 10 out of 13 points. This reflects thoughtful design features like ISOFIX mounts and an airbag cut-off function.
VinFast VF7 safety features
The VinFast VF7 comes equipped with a wide range of standard safety features, including 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, ESC, TCS, hill start assist, rain-sensing wipers, tire pressure monitoring system, rollover mitigation, emergency signal system, rear parking sensors, 360-deg surround view monitoring, rear seat ISOFIX latches, theft alarm, immobilizer, speed-sensitive auto door locks, and seatbelt reminders.
From the base variant onwards, the VF7 also gets advanced driver assistance features, including blind spot detection, lane centering control, auto lane change assist, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, emergency lane keeping, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, rear cross traffic alert, automatic high beam, advanced driver distraction warning, cruise control, and door open warning.
