The Volkswagen Taigun is split into two clear categories. The Chrome line includes Comfortline, Highline, Highline Plus, Topline, and GT Plus Chrome. Above that sits the Sport line, which includes the GT Line and GT Plus Sport.
On the ownership side, it comes with a 4-year or 100,000 km warranty, extendable up to 7 years or 150,000 km. You also get 4 years of roadside assistance, which can be extended up to 10 years. In addition, there are 3 free services scheduled at 1,000 km, 7,500 km, and 15,000 km.
Volkswagen Taigun facelift Comfortline

The Comfortline is the entry variant of the new Taigun and feels well-equipped. It offers full LED lighting, essential safety features, and a proper infotainment system from the start.

2026 Volkswagen Taigun Highline Plus

The Highline Plus builds on the Highline with a few useful upgrades. You get an electric sunroof, a better cockpit display, a cooled glovebox, and one-touch windows. Small additions, but they do make daily use nicer.

This is where the 1.5L TSI Evo comes in, and it changes how the Taigun feels to drive. The GT Plus Chrome pairs the 150 PS DSG with a full GT interior and most of the Topline’s comfort features.

2026 Volkswagen Taigun colour options

The Volkswagen Taigun facelift is offered in nine exterior shades. These include Avocado Pearl, Wild Cherry Red, Candy White, Deep Black Pearl, Steel Grey, Lava Blue, Reflex Silver, Carbon Steel, and Matte Steel.
Inside, there are six upholstery options. Fabric choices include Soul Black, Anthracite with CNC stitching, and Black with London Grey stitching. Leatherette options include Storm Grey with Black piping, Storm Grey with Red piping and stitching, and Black with Red piping and stitching.

On the mechanical side, the biggest update is a new automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre TSI engine in the 2026 Volkswagen Taigun facelift. The 1.0-litre TSI still makes 115PS and 178Nm, but now gets a new 8-speed torque converter automatic. The 1.5-litre TSI continues unchanged, producing 150hp and 250Nm. It also continues with rear disc brakes on the facelift model.
