It’s no secret to most people that the new Venue and the Sonet, at their very core, are one and the same cars and not only share the same underpinnings but also get similar engine options. These include a 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0L GDi turbo petrol and a 1.5L CRDi diesel engine. Likewise, we get similar gearbox options with all three engines, save for the 6-speed automatic gearbox which remains exclusive to the Kia Sonet’s diesel variants.

Despite sharing the same platform, the Venue and the Sonet get a completely different exterior design language. For starters, while the Hyundai Venue looks bold and elegant, the Kia Sonet on the other hand is loved for its aggressive and sporty styling. Hyundai Venue Vs Kia Sonet Interiors And Features

Just like the exteriors, the interiors of the two cars are also different and have a unique character. To start with, the Hyundai Venue gets a subtle and clean layout with the infotainment system in the centre, a four-spoke steering wheel, an all-digital instrument console, and a low-set dashboard.
