Tata Motors has just announced a special, limited edition 'Electrifying Subscription' offer on the Tata Nexon EV in order to make the most of the increased demand for new cars during the festive season. This recently launched offer will be available only till November 30, 2020, and will be provided to the first 100 subscribers only. Through this new offer, the customers can start using the electric version of the Tata Nexon sub-compact SUV at an all-inclusive fixed rental starting at just Rs. 34,900 per month.

It must be noted here that car subscription models make sense if you take into account that you can start using a car without the hassles of traditional vehicle ownership such as road tax and registration, insurance renewals, servicing, and maintenance. Moreover, there are also many options for the period of subscription. The customers can choose from a minimum period of 12 months to 24 and 36 months. Also, it's worth mentioning here that the service is available only in 5 major cities - Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru as these are the only towns with the necessary EV-charging infrastructure.

Also, this service is being offered in partnership with Orix Auto. The subscription package on offer includes things like comprehensive insurance coverage, on-call 24x7 roadside assistance plus free maintenance with periodic servicing, and doorstep delivery. Moreover, the Tata Nexon EV's latest subscription package includes a personal EV charger that one can get installed at home or office, depending on the customer's choice. The facility can be easily accessed online with end-to-end support available. Finally, at the end of the subscription period, a customer can either extend the tenure by paying accordingly or simply return the car.

Speaking on the launch of the new subscription offer, Mr. Pankaj Jhunja, Head- Mobility Services, Tata Motors said,

“We at Tata Motors are continuously striving to offer exciting propositions that are smarter, affordable, and convenient, for those who desire to experience driving smooth, silent, and green Nexon EV. Our new ‘Electrifying Subscription’ offer is designed with an aim to make EVs even more accessible to a rapidly growing base of future conscious citizens. It is ideal for customers preferring ‘usership’ over ownership amidst the rapidly growing phenomenon of the shared economy.”

Mr. Pankaj Jhunja, Head- Mobility Services, Tata Motors

We feel that this new offer from Tata Motors is well suited for corporates who prefer to lease instead of buying a vehicle, individuals with frequent inter-city job transfers, and expatriates who stay for a fixed tenure, among others.
