BMW India has updated its X5 SUV for the 2025 model year that brings new variants with upgraded equipment list. The new 2025 BMW X5 price range starts from Rs 1 crore and goes up to Rs 1.15 crore ex-showroom, New Delhi. 2025 BMW X5 launched — What’s new?
The 2025 BMW X5 comes in two variants—Standard and M Sport Pro—and two engine options — turbo petrol and diesel. The standard variant comes packed with several features whereas the M Sport Pro variant adds a hint of sportiness all around, featuring reprofiled bumpers, larger air intakes, M Sport alloys and exhaust system.

Coming to the price, the BMW X5 petrol comes in two variants — Standard at Rs 1 crore and M Sport Pro at Rs 1.13 crore ex-showroom, New Delhi. Similarly, the X5 diesel also comes in two variants — Standard at Rs 1.02 crore and M Sport Pro at Rs 1.15 crore ex-showroom. BMW X5 is available in the following metallic paintworks: Brooklyn Grey, Carbon Black, Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, Tanzanite Blue and Black Sapphire. It features BMW Individual extended leather trim ‘Merino’ upholstery with the following combinations – Tartufo | Black and Ivory White | Black, on the M Sport Pro variant. The standard variant features perforated Sensafin upholstery with Décor stitching and Cognac shade as standard.

2025 BMW X5 features
Coming to the BMW X5 features, the updated SUV packs in adaptive LED headlights, LED tail lights, 2-axle air suspension, surround view cameras, Harman/Kardon sound system, digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof and more.
Furthermore, the BMW X5 M Sport Pro variant adds BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery options (Tartufo | Black or Ivory White | Black), M Sport Exhaust System, M Sport Brakes with Red high-gloss calipers, High-gloss black accents on Kidney Grille, Air Breathers and Tailpipe trims; BMW Individual Piano Black interior trim and M Seat Belts for a motorsport-inspired cabin look.

2025 BMW X5 powertrain options
The BMW X5 offers a dynamic blend of performance and off-road capability. It is available with two powerful engine options: the xDrive40i petrol variant featuring a 3.0-litre inline-6 engine delivering 381PS and 520Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds; and the xDrive30d diesel variant, which produces 286PS and a robust 650Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. Both engines are paired with a 48V mild hybrid system that adds an additional 12PS and 200Nm of electric boost, enhancing both efficiency and responsiveness. Power is transmitted through an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, with selectable driving modes. The X5 also offers 2-axle air suspension, M Sport differential and off-road driving modes for a complete driving experience.
