Maruti Suzuki has launched a new SUV in India — the Victoris — which will be the flagship offering under its Arena network of dealerships, ranking above the Brezza but below Nexa’s Grand Vitara. The Victoris gets the same powertrain options as the Grand Vitara, but comes with a noticeable set of enhanced features. Here’s more about the new 2025 Maruti Suzuki Victoris.

The Victoris shares an uncanny resemblance to the Grand Vitara in its silhouette, and to the Brezza in its character lines on the side profile. It gets a segmented rear lightbar and a strip of chrome connecting the headlights. There are functional air vents integrated into the front bumper, and it gets two designs for the alloy wheels.

There are multiple options for the interior upholstery as well, and the SUV gets soft-touch materials on the dashboard. Key Maruti Victoris features include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 360-degree cameras, Level-2 ADAS, 8-speaker Infinity sound system by Harman, head-up display, six airbags as standard, 8-way powered driver’s seat, auto-dimming IRVM, and more. The Victoris has become the second Maruti car after the Dzire to secure a 5-star safety rating at Bharat NCAP.

As for its powertrain options, it shares them with the Grand Vitara. This includes a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which also comes with the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit, and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine sourced from Toyota. It also gets the option of AWD configuration, and it happens to be the first Maruti car in India to get an underbody-mounted CNG tank, thereby freeing up space in the boot.
