First launched back in the year 2021, the Renualt Kiger is finally set to receive a mid-lifecycle facelift. 2025 Renault Kiger facelift India launch date
After recently launching the Triber facelift, the French carmaker is now set to launch the Kiger facelift on August 24, 2025. The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift bookings are likely to open on the launch date itself, however, interested buyers can reach out to their nearest Renault dealership and make an unofficial pre-booking.

Enhanced design
The new spy shots of the Kiger facelift reveals the key changes that the updated model is likely to feature. Up front, the spy shots reveal the inclusion of fog lights, which are not offered on the outgoing model. Furthermore, the Kiger facelift will continue with the same split headlights setup that’s offered with the current model. Other changes could come in the form of tweaked headlights and tail lights, new set of alloy wheels and reprofiled bumpers—all combining to give it a refreshed appeal.
New features
While the spy shots do not reveal much on the features side, apart from the inclusion of LED fog lights. However, peeping into the details, one could see small protrusions under the side mirrors, hinting towards the inclusion of a surround view camera. The possibility of the same is even higher, given that a surround view camera is already offered on the Nissan Magnite—Kiger’s Japanese cousin with shared underpinnings. Furthermore, expect the new Kiger to offer new features such as refreshed screen visuals, six airbags, better quality materials and more.
Same powertrain options
The Renault Kiger facelift is likely to carry over the existing engine and transmission choices. The Kiger currently offers a choice of two engine options—1.0-litre normal petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol—with manual and automatic options. The Kiger’s 1.0-litre turbocharged engine puts out 100PS of power and 152Nm of torque and comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT, with the latter exceeding the torque output to 160Nm. Furthermore, the Kiger with its 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine also offers the option of a dealer-level CNG retrofit.
