The 2026 Hyundai Verna has been launched in India with a model-year update. The sedan is now available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6 Plus, HX8, and HX10. Prices start at Rs 10.98 lakh and go up to Rs 18.25 lakh, covering both entry-level and top-end trims.
The New Verna has received cosmetic updates and feature upgrades, giving it a refreshed look and improved equipment across the lineup. Mechanically, the sedan remains unchanged, continuing with the same turbo petrol and diesel engines as before.
2026 Hyundai Verna exterior & dimensions
The 2026 Hyundai Verna gets a few noticeable exterior updates. Up front, it now features dual LED projector headlamps and a new black chrome radiator grille. At the rear, Hyundai has added a bolder bumper design along with a more aerodynamic spoiler. The sedan also rides on new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Alongside these updates, the Verna continues with familiar design elements such as the connected LED positioning lamp, LED tail lamps, a satin chrome window beltline, and satin chrome door handles.
In terms of size, the sedan measures 4,565 mm in length, which makes it 30 mm longer than before. It is 1,765 mm wide and 1,475 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. Boot space stands at 528 litres, giving it plenty of room for luggage.

New Hyundai Verna interior features
The 2026 Hyundai Verna interior uses a dual-tone beige and black cabin, while select Turbo variants switch to an all-black layout with red accents. The biggest highlight is the dual 20.49-inch integrated displays that combine a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets a new D-cut steering wheel, built-in dashcam, rain-sensing wipers, automatic temperature control, and rear AC vents.
Hyundai has added a long list of convenience features as well. These include support for more than 400 voice commands, leatherette seat upholstery, and a sliding front centre armrest with storage. You also get a smart key with push-button start, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, a four-way power-adjustable passenger seat, ventilated seats, 64-colour ambient lighting and an electric sunroof, among others.
New Hyundai Verna safety features
On the safety front, the 2026 Hyundai Verna brings a segment-first seven-airbag setup. It also gets an electronic parking brake with auto hold, front parking sensors, TPMS, and disc brakes on all four wheels. Other safety features include ISOFIX child seat mounts, hill start assist, headlamp escort function, seatbelt reminder for all seats, emergency stop signal, electronic stability control with vehicle stability management, surround view monitor and blind spot view monitor, level 2 ADAS, and more.

The new Hyundai Verna continues with the same engine options. It offers a 1.5 litre four cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a six speed manual or a CVT. There is also a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This version comes with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
