Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition returns — Bookings to open for 24 hours

Last August, Mahindra tried something unusual with the Mahindra BE 6. It released a limited Batman-themed version inspired by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, created in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. Only 999 units were made. They were gone in 135 seconds. That kind of response is hard to ignore. 

So for 2026, Mahindra has brought the idea back. The new BE 6 Batman Edition again builds on the top Pack Three variant with the 79 kWh battery. Mechanically, it stays the same, but the appeal is clearly the theme and the exclusivity around it. Price is set at Rs 28.49 lakh. That is about Rs 70,000 higher than when the edition first appeared.

When the special edition first appeared last year, Mahindra kept things extremely tight. The initial release of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition was capped at just 300 units. Demand quickly proved that number was too small. Within days, Mahindra expanded the run and confirmed a larger batch of 999 units. 

For 2026, the relaunched BE 6 Batman Edition sticks to the same dark, Gotham-inspired theme built around Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. The visual treatment is what sets it apart. The SUV wears a custom Satin Black finish, paired with a Batman decal on the front doors and BE 6 × The Dark Knight limited edition badging at the rear. Look up and the Infinity Roof carries the Bat emblem from the trilogy. Even the Night Trail carpet lamps project the Bat logo on the ground when the doors open. Mahindra has added smaller touches like Batman Edition signature sticker on the rear door cladding and large R20 alloy wheels.

Then there is the contrast. The suspension components and brake calipers are finished in Alchemy Gold, which stands out sharply against the dark bodywork. The Bat emblem itself appears across the vehicle, not just once. It shows up on the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, the windows, and even the rear windshield.

2026 Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition interior

The interior of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition feels thoughtfully designed. A Brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque sits on the dashboard, while the Charcoal leather instrument panel is outlined with a subtle brushed gold halo around the driver’s cockpit.

Seats and panels combine suede and leather with gold sepia stitching, and the Bat emblem from The Dark Knight Trilogy is tastefully integrated into the cabin. Gold accents appear on the steering wheel, In-Touch Controller, electronic parking brake, and the custom key fob. Even the Boost button, seats, and interior labels carry the emblem, adding small, deliberate touches.

The passenger dashboard features a pinstripe graphic with the Bat emblem, and the doors have race car-inspired straps with Batman Edition branding. The infotainment display welcomes you with a simple Batman Edition animation. To top it all off, the BE 6 Batman Edition comes with custom Batman-inspired exterior engine sounds.

2026 Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition powertrain specs

Based on the top-of-the-line Pack Three trim, the BE 6 Batman Edition 79kWh battery pack that powers a 286PS electric motor, with a claimed torque output of 380Nm. All the power goes to the rear wheels, and the claimed Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition range stands at 683 kilometres, as per the MIDC test cycles. 

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition booking & delivery

Bookings for the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition will open on 10 March at 11:00 AM. The window will remain open for just one day. Mahindra is giving buyers a head start before that. From 6 March, customers can visit the BE 6 page and use the Add Your Preference option to register their interest and configure the vehicle ahead of the booking window.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin on 10 April 2026. Mahindra is also giving a small advantage to the existing Batman Edition community. If a booking comes through a referral from a current BE 6 Batman Edition owner, that order will receive priority delivery.
